I measure the interior of the main compartment of this medium-ish bag to be 5 x 3 x 2.3". The interior lining is soft and protective, and the outer fabric is a good quality heavy nylon packcloth. Has a nice belt loop with handy velcro so the belt doesn't have to come off in order to install or remove it. On the front there is a sidewise slender pocket with a good quality zipper. On mine, the velcro closure is where it is supposed to be for the bag to function properly. So maybe there was a quality control issue with the bag received by the earlier reviewer.
There is one flaw on mine, which is that the top flap is too narrow to properly protect the contents of the bag. If I were to load it in just the right way, and really stuff it, the flap would keep stuff in, but not completely prevent rain from entering. That is if I were out in the rain. Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue, would it? So - sooner or later I will find a piece of black coated nylon in my arsenal of such stuff, and create a little rain shroud. Already got it designed in my head. I'm always doing that kind of mod. But one shouldn't really have to. Still for six bucks this gets five stars.

I bought this for my Sanyo Xacti CG10 camcorder and it has room for more! It is quality made. I love the foam padding which would give my camera extra protection for those accidents.
I hoped the shipping was a little bit sooner.
I wish Amazon would make more affordable but quality made products!
Good, smaller camera case for smaller digital camara August 18, 2010

My wife has a smaller digital camera that she really likes. How it has survived all the knocking around it has recieved over the past year I will never know. I did know that it's life was limited if I didn't get her a camera case that was small enough for her to use regularly, but big enough to hold some accessories. This camera case really fits the bill.... it's nicely padded, but no so much as to make it bulky. It has a belt loop that is strongly closed with velcro so it can be removed from or placed on the belt without having to take your belt off. It has a very nice full velcro front closure that holds the camera securely in the case even when you are actively moving around. No worries about the camera falling out. It also has a hand strap if you want to hold the camera and case in your hand. It has a nice zippered compartment on the front of the case, that is also covered by the front closure velcro. This is just the right size to hold extra micro chips and a good supply of AA size batteries. This is a real plus since my wife's camera seems to run out of battery power at all the wrong times and the extra batteries are always back in the car. The price and the features of this camera case make it just right for most of the smaller digital cameras. If your camera is no more than 4.5 inces long, 3 inches wide and 2 inches thick, which includes a lot of the more popular cameras, this is the right case for you. I recommend it.

This case is a little large for my polaroid i1036 digital camera, but I expected that. A better choice for that camera would have been AmazonBasics Universal Camera Case for Digital Cameras HF (Black). The pocket can easily accomodate extra batteries and a memory card. I like the fact that this case has both a wrist strap and a velcro belt loop, as many cases only have one or the other.
I'm actually using this case for my widescreen TomTom GPS instead. It works pretty well, but is a bit tight when I also put in the cord.
My one complaint with this case is that it has a very flimsy feel and is only lightly padded. This is the reason I gave it four stars rather than five.

You really can't beat this six dollar case in terms of value for money. It's lined with soft velcro, has a front pocket big enough for batteries and has a little convenient strap. The big minus is that the case is flat which means that it's probably best for camera phones. Like another reviewer we use ours for our GPS. It's perfect for that. As is the price.
